Fresh ideas, innovations to overcome energy crisis: Latif Pesco CEO asks future engineers to divise new methods

PESHAWAR The engineering students can help us to overcome the energy crisis by bringing new ideas and innovations, said CeO Pesco Abdul Latif Khan while addressing the Digital InnovationExhibition held at University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar.A Pesco stall was also exhibited in the exhibition which attracted large number of people. The visitors were briefed about the developmental activities of Pesco. Vice Chancellor University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar Professor Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gilani & CEO Pesco visited the stalls and appreciated the efforts by the students.Pesco stall was arranged in the supervision of Chief Engineer Pesco Operation Abdul Latif Khan in which people were briefed about transformers, meters, testing system and other instruments, and material used in Pesco distribution system and Developmental activities of Pesco. Pesco displayed banners highlighting Customer ServiceCenters phone numbers and the negative impact of illegal use of electricity. In Pesco stall some complaints were also redressed. A large number of guest visited Pesco stall and appreciated it.Chief Executive Pesco Muhammad Wali also paid visit to all stalls including Pesco stall and has shown his satisfaction over the arrangements Chief Executive Pesco on this occasion said that the arrangement of such exhibitions is the need of today. It explores students abilities and motivate them to invent new things.CEO Pesco Congratulated Vice Chancellor University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar for the arrangement of DigitalInnovation Competition & Exhibition. He admired its arrangements.Two days DigitalInnovation Competition and Exhibition was concluded today.
