ISLAMABAD The Jinnah Preparatory School (JPS) held a prize distribution ceremony for the high-achievers of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examinations, says apress release issued here on Friday.

Federal Minister for Professional and Technical Training Mian Riaz Hussain Peerzada was the guest of honour. JPS Governing Body Chairman Ijlal Haider Zaidi along with CEO Abdul Qazi Hayee were also present on the occasion.

The programme started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’aan by Anum Khan of class VII-A. Attiya Abbas of IX-A presented a beautiful Naat.

Muniba Ayyaz received a gold medal for securing 972 marks in the recently held SSC examination, while Chaudhary Nadir Hayat received silver medal for securing 966 marks in the same examination. Other students were given shields for securing A+ and

to bright students from

every class.

Mrs. Farzana Rizwan was given the Teacher’s Recognition Certificate and a prize of Rs5,000 for excellent SSC result in her subject.

Meanwhile, a Defence Day ceremony was also held in the school. The students presented heart-warming speeches and national songs with zeal and zest that reminded the guests of the 1965 war.

The students then paid homage to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah through their speeches and songs.The news.
