NFC engineering admission 2012 announced



NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research (NFC IEFR), Faisalabad, has admissions open to M.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) for session 2011-2012.

NFC Institute of Engineering, a project of Ministry of Industries and Production, Government of Pakistan, is affiliated with University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore.

Admission Eligibility

Only those candidates can apply who have passed Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) / Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) accredited undergraduate degree in relevant discipline (B.Sc. Chemical Engineering/Polymer Engineering), securing at least 60% marks under annual/term system or CGPA 3 on the scale of 4 under semester system.

If the candidate has not already passed General Aptitude Test (GAT) that is conducted by National Testing Service (NTS) then the candidate shall be required to appear in GAT to be held on November 27, 2011 to be conducted by NTS specifically for UET, Lahore.

The candidates securing 50% marks in the GAT shall appear for interview to be conducted by the Department. All the candidates have been advised to contact Department for the interview schedule.

Application Forms

Prospectus is available on cash payment of Rs.950 or through courier against bank draft of Rs.1,000 in favor of NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad.

Last date for receipt of M.Sc. Chemical Engineering admission application is November 30, 2011.
