MARDAN All Subject Specialists Association (ASSA) acting provincial president Ashraf Ali has asked the government to give one-step promotion to all the teaching cadres of the Education Department.
In a statement on Wednesday, he said the government should issue orders for the one-step promotion of Primary School Teachers (PSTs), Certified Teachers (CTs), Senior English Teachers (SETs), Subject Specialists (SSs) and Director Physical Education (DPEs) so that they could perform duty devotedly.
He termed the ASSA’s meeting convened by former president Nasir Daudzai today as illegal and against the spirit of rules laid down in theconstitution of the association. The acting president urged the members not to participate in the meeting as some elements were creating rift in the association.
Meanwhile, ASSA President Ashraf Ali and DPEs Association Vice-President Fida Mohammad hailed the appointment of Farmanullah Khan as controller Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mardan and hoped that he would try his best to improve credibility of the board and examination system. They said that the new controller was an honest person, but some elements had launched propaganda against him to achieve their vested interests.The news.
