Two-day children’s film festival begins today
Karachi
The Karachi International Children’s Film Festival (KICFF) is being held at the Rangoonwala Community Centre from Nov 23 to 25. The KICFF is offering an exciting mix of 83 films from 26countries. These films have been picked from an overwhelming 400 entries that were received by The Little Art from around the world. For the young audience and their families, the KCIFF promises a menu of carefully selected world-class short films, which include both animated and live action films. The films have been selected to appeal to most age groups unless, of course, stated otherwise. There is a morning programme aimed at schools and two one-hour-long slots in the evening, one that starts at 6:30pm and the other at 8:00pm which is open to all. This is for the first time Karachi is hosting the festival and the Teachers’ Resource Centre and PeaceNiche are supporting the venture in the city
