Sooye Haram published

Karachi Arshad Sabiri, a poet, writer, intellectual and chairman of the Mir Khalilur Rahman Memorial Society (MKRMS), has published his first collection of Urdu poetry titled ‘Sooye Haram’, which contains beautiful ‘Hamd-o-Na’at’.

All arrangements for the publication of the book have been made by the Sardar Ali Sabri Memorial Society (SASMS).

Arshad Sibiri, son of a veteran journalist and leader of the Pakistan Movement, Sardar Ali Sabiri, has dedicated his book to his late father (Sabiri), stressing that his father was a truly spiritual personality. Earlier, he compiled a book on the personality and works by his father (Sabiri). The book is titled ‘Sardar Ali Sabiri — Mashaheer Ki Nazar Mein’. This book has been dedicated to Mir Khalilur Rahman, while including a poem eulogising Mir Khalilur Rahman was true ‘Mir-e-Sahafat’ (a genuine leader and patron of journalism).

In his poetry collection, he has presented ‘Hamd’, ‘Salam’, ‘Na’at’, ‘Manaqib’, ‘Natia Qita’at’ and other couplets. The collection presents writings by Prof Dr Farhat Azeem and Mukhtar Ajmeri (who paid poetic tributes) who have evaluated the actual literary worth of the poetry and have commended him for his wonderful poetic diction that has a mystical touch as well.

Prof Dr Farhat Azeem referred to his (Sabiri’s) poetically sound couplets and said that he genuinely perfect in coining good symbols and diction in order to express his true spiritual feelings in his book. Some of the couplets of Arshad Sabiri say: “Jalwe unu subho shaam hein taire – chaand sooraj ghulaam hein taire; Jab se dil mein basa leeya tujh ko – dil mein kia kia payaam hein taire”.The news.
