Aug 26, 2011: University of Peshawar test for admission into four year degree program in various disciplines was held under the National Testing Service on Wednesday. The test which was held at seven different centres in Peshawar was taken by more than eight thousand candidates for admission into around twenty two hundred seats in twenty seven different departments of University of Peshawar.
Separate tests were designed by NTS depending on the field on the candidate and their preferred departments in two shifts i.e: morning shift starting from 9am to 11am and afternoon shift starting from 1pm to 3pm.

The test was monitored by Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Azmat Hayat Khan while Director Admissions Prof. Dr. Hizbullah Khan and Registrar University of Peshawar Dr. Syed Fazli Hadi also accompanied him.
Resident inspectors at each center were assigned the duty to see the conduct of the test and sought out problems of the students with the help of the NTS supervisory staff.
The result of the entry test would be declared on August 26 and would be available on NTS websitewww.nts.org.pk, and University of Peshawar website www.upesh.edu.pk .
