KPK Development of Schools and Collges 2011/2012



PESHAWAR Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports, Syed Aqil Shah Monday saideducation was imperative for social change and development of a country and a prominent position among comity of nations could only be achieved by enhancing its standard to cater the modern days’ needs.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Government High Schoolat Landi Arbab, the Minister said the government was spending 230 million rupees on the construction of girls and boys degree colleges while 300 million rupees have been utilized for different public welfare developmental schemes in his constituency.

In addition to installation of 19 new transformers to resolve low voltage problem, he said work on installation of 20 transformers is also in progress to electrify the villages and towns.



He also announced sports goods and furniture for Government High SchoolLandi Arbab and urged students to participate in healthy extra curricular activities besides focusing on their education.

The ceremony was attending by former MPA, Muhammad Ibrahim Qasmi, President ANP Landi Arbab, Zahid Hussain, District Education Officer Iftikhar Khan and elders of the area. (APP)
