FAST University Admission 2011-2012

Karachi The (FUUAST) has announced that the admission process for the morning programmefor the academic year 2012, would begin from the first week of December for which the newspaper advertisement will appear on November 27.

The decision to this effect was taken at the 16th meeting of the Academic Council held on Saturday with the FUUAST Vice-Chancellor Dr Mohammad Qaiser in the chair. The academic council also approved the admission policy of the university for for various degree programmes. The meeting approved the allocation of seats for admission in various teaching departments of the university.

The academic council meeting decided that this year admissions in degree programmesof the university would be carried out under a centralised admission committee. The meeting decided that admissions in the departments of Business Administration, Computer Science, Pharmacy, and Geology would be given under the National Testing Service.

The academic council also gave approval to courses of PhD in Pharmacy, Economics, and BBA, MBA, Executive MBAprogrammes of the Business Administration department.

The meeting also setup an eight-member committee for establishing faculty of Pharmacy in the University in accordance with the directions of the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The committee would submit its recommendations on the issue within 15 days.

KU ADMISSIONS: Vice-Chancellor University of Karachi Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim issued directives to the university officials for overcoming shortage of forms concerning the ongoing admission process of KU in Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programmes for the forthcoming academic session.

The KU’s director admission Committee said that the shortfall of admission forms would be overcome by the coming Monday. A special counter was also established at the university for guidance and assistance in the admission process for prospective students.The news.
