HEC New Projects worth 12 billion in app report

CDWP approves 12 projects worth Rs 20 billion for HEC

ISLAMABAD: Higher Education Commission (HEC) going to execute, Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved, 12 different projects of costing about Rs 20 billion.
The projects were approved in a meeting of CDWP held the other day under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr Nadeemul Haq.
The main projects include Indigenous PhD Fellowships for 5000 Scholars, HEC costing Rs 9.9 billion, Master Leading to PhD Scholarship Program for Indigenous as well as for overseas for the Students of Balochistan under the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package, Development of Infrastructure at Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Uthal Balochistan, Development of Malakand University, Chakdara, Lowr Dir and Immediate Needs of the University of Science & Technology Bannu. CDWP also considered Punjab School Libraries to be funded under German Debt. app
