Bachelor’s programs offered at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University are:
B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture – Four years (Morning/Evening)
- F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% Marks or equivalent.
- Candidates must have domicile from Districts of Barani Areas of Punjab other than open merit, special quotas and evening program.
- For each quota separate application form should be submitted.
- For Cholistan quota, certificate of Cholistan Authority mentioning that the area falls in Cholistan should be attached along with the application form.
- Application forms of nominated candidates of different quotas should be submitted along with nomination before the closing date.
- Schedule of enrollment will be strictly followed.
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) – Five years (Morning)
- F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must have domicile from the districts of Barani areas of Punjab and Islamabad.
- For Open Merit seats are on all Punjab basis.
BS (Biochemistry) – Four years (Morning)
- F.Sc.(Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
BS (Economics) – Four years (Morning/Evening)
- At least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.
BBA (Hons) – Four years (Morning/Afternoon)
- At least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.
BS (CS) – Four years (Morning/Evening)
- At least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.
BS (IT) – Four years (Morning)
- At least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent certificate.
B.Ed. – One year (Morning/Evening)
Master’s programs offered at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University are:
M.Ed. – One year (Morning/Evening)
- Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 50% marks.
M.Sc. (Education) – Two years (Morning)
- B.A./B.Sc. degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 50% marks.
M.Sc. (Sciences) in Anthropology, Botany, Biology, Biochemistry, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology – Two years (Morning/Evening)
- Bachelor degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks.
- For M.Sc. Biochemistry, Biology, Botany & Zoology the applicant must have studied Botany, Zoology & Chemistry at Bachelor’s level.
- For M.Sc. Anthropology, applicant must have studied Sociology, Economics, Social work, Psychology or Geography at Bachelor’s level.
- For Evening program seats are on all Pakistan basis.
M.Sc. (FRM&W) in Wildlife Management, Environmental Sciences – Two years (Morning)
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in the relevant fields.
MBA – 3½ years (Morning/Afternoon/Evening)
- Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks.
MBA (Agri. Business) – 3½ years (Evening)
- Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks.
MBA (Agri. Business) – 1½ years (Evening)
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture four years degree, with at least 50% marks, or 2.50/4.00 CGPA whichever applicable.
MBA – 1½ years (Evening)
- BBA (Hons) four years or equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks, or 2.50/4.00 CGPA whichever applicable.
MDM (Masters in Development Management) – Two years (Evening)
- Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks.
MCS / MIT – Two years (Morning/Evening)
- Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks.
M.Sc. (Hons)/ M.Phil./ MS programs offered at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University are:
M.Phil. (Education) – Two years (Morning)
- M.Sc. or its equivalent qualifications in the relevant field with CGPA not less than 2.50/4.00 or with 50% marks under the Annual System.
- Must have passed GAT (General) with 50% marks.
M.Phil. (Sciences) in Botany, Biology, Biochemistry, Economics, Statistics, Zoology, Sociology – Two years (Morning)

M.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in Agronomy, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Extension & Communication, Entomology, Food Technology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Plant Breeding & Genetics – Two years (Morning)
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in the relevant subject with CGPA of at least 2.50/4.00.
- Must have passed GAT(General) with 50% marks.
MS (Management Sciences) – 1½ years (Evening)
- Sixteen years of schooling with last degree in Business/Commerce or 4 years Business Education degree with at least 1st division in Annual System, or 3.00/4.00 CGPA in semester system.
- Must have passed GAT (General) with 50% marks.
MS (CS) – Two years (Evening)
- BCS (Hons)/BS (CS) degree of 4 years duration with minimum CGPA of 2.50/4.00.
- MIT/MCS/M.Sc. (CS) with 2.50/4.00 CGPA.

Ph.D. programs offered at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University are:
Ph.D. (Agriculture) in Agronomy, Entomology, Food Technology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Plant Breeding & Genetics – (Morning)
- M.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture with CGPA of at least 3.00/4.00 in the relevant discipline.
- The Ph.D. applications must be accompanied by comprehensive project proposals.
Ph.D. (Sciences) in Botany, Agriculture Economics, Biochemistry, Economics, Zoology – (Morning)
- MS/M.Phil. /M.Sc. (Hons) with first division in relevant field OR CGPA of at least 3.00/4.00.
- The Ph.D. applications must be accompanied by comprehensive project proposals.
